Who are Co-op Camp staff teams?
Staff teams are comprised of 6 to 10 individuals who are program alumni or employed, volunteers or engaged with the co-operative sector. Staff members are committed to being a good role model to Saskatchewan youth and volunteering to spend a week sharing their knowledge and experiences.
What is the role of a staff member?
Staff responsibilities include: working with the team to plan the camp, planning and leading individual sessions, participation in all sessions, social and recreational events, supervising the participants through the time at camp, being involved in cooking and cleanup and daily meetings with your staff team. The Youth Program office is committed to supporting the staff teams before, during and after camp - through the provision all necessary materials, a Staff Training Workshop and onsite resource staff.
What does it take to be a staff member at Co-op Camp?
The SCYP staff team is always looking for new members. We are looking for individuals who display the following characteristics:

By staffing at Co-op Camp you will have helped to make the difference in the lives of youth, meet and work with fellow co-operators, polish presentation and leadership skills, share information and ideas about your co-operative or credit union and have an amazing, unique experience with a great group of people.
How do I apply to staff Co-op Camp?
Read and complete the Staff Application form that suits you best! If you are part of the co-op sector please fill out our co-op sector staff application form; if you are a past participant of Co-op Camp, then please fill out our alumni staff application form and return it to the Youth Program Office. If you have any questions please contact us and we will be happy answer any questions you may have.
When is the application deadline?
The Staff Application deadline for 2010 is March 19.
