Participate! Contribute! Get Involved! The I Heart Co-ops E-Zine will be published in the spring and fall, so please send us your art, poems, ideas for columns, stories, inspirations, upcoming events, etc—we want to profile all of the coolness that is everyone involved in SCYP! Not involved yet in SCYP but you want to contribute? Please do! This is a chance for you to express yourself and get your thoughts out to other young people all around the province - and beyond.

Our 7th issue is the Environment Issue. We wanted to take this opportunity to build on the 2009 Co-op Week theme of Co-operatives are: putting people first, creating sustainable jobs, and investing in communities. In this edition we have compiled stories, profiles, and ideas from people and co-operative organizations that are passionate about their communities, future and environment; they are people and organizations that are thinking outside the box and who are creating real solutions and change. Check out the profile of the Regina Car Share Co-op who are the first in Saskatchewan to organize a new model for car ownership and Bryan Tudor, also know as Captain Co-op!

 


 

 

Our sixth issue is The Inspiration Issue. It contains information on this years SCYP seminars, including the low-down on the two NEW SEMINAR LEVELS on offer this year, 60 ideas about how to find inspiration, photos of SCYPers in action, The Greatest Photo in the Co-op Universe, profiles of Cooperative La Mauve and SCA Member co-operative Concentra Financial, SCYP alumni interview with Lee Knafelc, upcoming opportunities and things to do and work by guest artist Chico Sousa!
